Institution Profile
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is a leading public institution of higher education in Engineering, Science and Technology in Malaysia. UTM was established on 14 March 1972 and initially named as Institut Teknologi Kebangsaan. Later it was renamed to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia on 1 April 1975.
Ever since its first convocation in 1972 until now, UTM has produced more than 187,858 graduants especially in Engineering and Technology. This made UTM as the main contributors to the professional and semi-professional manpower in the country.
