Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) is the 14th public university in Malaysia. It was established on 1 December 2000 and it is the first technical public university in Malaysia. It is the pioneer in the use of the “Practice and Application Oriented” teaching and learning method for tertiary level technical education in Malaysia. The university has 2 campuses; the main campus is located at Durian Tunggal, Technology Campus at Ayer Keroh, Melaka.
UTeM has seven (7) faculties and an institute which offers programme in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science and Information Technology as well as Technology Management and Technopreneur at undergraduate (Diploma and Bachelor Degree) and Postgraduate (Master and Doctorate) level.
