Institution Profile

Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) is the Malaysia’s first Islamic University established by the government of Malaysia and it is the 12th public university in Malaysia. It aims to spearhead knowledge and be the global reference centre for Islamic Science.

USIM is committed to be excellent in three tracks in terms of its academic programmes and research. The tracks are;

Islamic Studies, Quran and Sunnah
Islamic Science, Technology and Engineering
Islamic Arts, Social Science and Humanities

The three tracks are supported by the five (5) Centres of Excellence which are responsible for enhancing the research environment.

Pandan Indah Campus is the home for Faculty of Medical & Health Science and Faculty of Dentistry. The hospital used for learning purpose is Hospital Ampang, Selangor, Hospital Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Temerloh, Pahang, Hospital Tampin and Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan.
